The confirmed roster
The Steam description introduces the maids as a group. Four names — Irene, Nell, Leona and Clarice — appear on the store’s own character cards, and the fifth is known by the player nickname Nameless. That is enough to confirm the roster. It is not enough to write a biography.
The same character cards give one official behaviour hint per maid. Those hints are quoted below and kept separate from the camera routes, which remain player reports.
This page separates three things: what the store assets confirm (four names and one behaviour hint each), what players report from repeated runs (approach sides and camera cues), and what nobody has published (ages, backstories, official relationships, voice credits). Anything in the third category is left out rather than invented. The fifth name, Nameless, is a community label, not an official one.
| Maid | Approach side | Reported cue | Defence |
|---|---|---|---|
| Irene | Left door | CAM04, then the left window | Close the left shutter until the window is clear |
| Nell | Right door | CAM02, then the right window | Close the right shutter, reopen after she leaves |
| Leona | Left door | CAM10 curtain, then knocking | Hold the left shutter through the knock sequence |
| Clarice | Right door | CAM05 | Close the right shutter immediately |
| Nameless | No fixed side | Music cue; a camera sighting | Find her on camera and stare her out; shutters do not work |

Irene — the left-door pressure

Irene is the maid most players meet first, and she is also the one most likely to punish a lazy camera loop. The reported pattern is straightforward: she appears on CAM04, leaves it, and reappears at the left window. Once she is at the glass, the light confirms her and the left shutter is the answer.
The official card is more direct: “She will come to you in time. To stop her, just close the door and turn on the lights. You don’t need to check the camera.” Treat the camera as an early warning rather than a requirement; the door light is the step the card insists on.
The complication is speed. Several players report that from Night 3 onward Irene can close the distance faster and may not offer the same clean CAM04 warning every time. Treat the camera as a hint, not a guarantee. If the left side goes quiet and the light shows movement, close first and ask questions after.
- Watch: CAM04 disappearing without a replacement sighting.
- Confirm: left door light, briefly.
- Respond: left shutter down until the window is empty.
- Avoid: holding the shutter down after she leaves. That is pure power loss.
Nell — the right-door twin-tail

Nell is the right-side mirror of Irene: reported on CAM02, then at the right window. Her movement is quick, and the twin-tail silhouette makes her one of the easier maids to recognise on a grainy feed. The response is the same discipline — confirm with the right light, close the right shutter, reopen when she is gone.
The official card stresses her speed: “Impulsive and quick to pout, Nell doesn’t wait for anything. Even though small, she’s faster than Irene and strikes without hesitation.” Do not assume the Irene timing carries over.
Players who try to answer Nell with the camera alone tend to lose the office while they are still cycling feeds. The camera tells you she is coming. Only the shutter stops her.
- Watch: CAM02 activity and a missing maid on the next sweep.
- Confirm: right door light.
- Respond: right shutter down, then reopen on the clear cue.
- Avoid: closing both shutters because one side is threatened.
Leona — the curtain room

Leona’s tell is environmental rather than a simple doorway appearance. Players report that she is tied to CAM10 and its curtain: when the curtain is open and the room is empty, the approach has started. The follow-up cue is knocking at the left side, and the shutter needs to stay down until the knocking stops.
The official card explains why holding the shutter hurts: “She is a relentless stalker, and if you don’t act in time, she’ll charge at you. You can try to hold her back, but she’ll punish you by draining your power.” Act on the cue, not on panic, and reopen the moment the sequence ends.
That last detail matters. Closing for one beat and reopening early can hand the night back to her. Listen to the sequence, not just the first sound.
- Watch: CAM10 curtain state and an empty room.
- Confirm: knocking on the left side.
- Respond: left shutter down through the whole knock sequence.
- Avoid: reopening on the first pause in the audio.
Clarice — the direct entry

Clarice is the least forgiving of the doorway maids. The reported cue is CAM05, but there is no long window pause to give you a second chance: she can move from the camera sighting to a direct entry. When she shows up on CAM05, the right shutter goes down now.
The official card leans on sound rather than sight: “She’s a stealthy threat, moving quietly, and the only way to track her is by listening to her footsteps. If you aren’t paying attention, she will strike when you least expect it.” Use CAM05 and the footsteps together; neither cue is generous.
Because there is no confirmation step, this is the one case where reacting to the camera is correct. The usual order — camera, then light, then shutter — assumes you have time for every step. Clarice is the exception.
- Watch: CAM05.
- Confirm: no time; the camera sighting is the confirmation.
- Respond: right shutter immediately.
- Avoid: waiting for a window appearance that may never happen.
Nameless — the one shutters cannot stop
The Nameless maid breaks the system the other four teach. Players report an audio cue, often music, followed by a direct approach. A closed shutter does not stop her. The counter is to find her on the cameras and hold the view until she disappears.
This is the one maid who makes camera time mandatory rather than optional. If you hear the cue, stop cycling and search. Once she is on screen, stay on her. The moment she vanishes, return to the office and check the doors for the other four.
- Watch: the audio cue that does not match a door approach.
- Confirm: find her on a camera feed and keep the view.
- Respond: stare until she disappears; shutters are not the answer.
- Avoid: hiding behind a closed shutter and waiting.
Inside the mansion
The store page does not label individual maids in its screenshots, so these images are here as atmosphere and costume reference rather than as a named gallery. The captions avoid assigning a character the source does not confirm.

The night guard
The player character is the mansion’s night guard: unnamed, unseen and apparently underpaid for the risk. The store description frames the job as five nights of watching the maids for unusually good pay. No official name, face or backstory has been published, so this page does not assign one.
What the guard can do is fixed by the office: open the camera map, flash either door light and drop either shutter. Everything else — running, hiding, leaving the chair — is outside the design.
What this page does not claim
- No ages, heights or official birthdays.
- No confirmed lore about why the maids behave this way.
- No official English biographies; the store page treats them as a group.
- No claim that the reported routes are exhaustive. They are player observations from the launch build and can change with a patch.
Before each shift, remind yourself which side each maid uses: Irene and Leona on the left, Nell and Clarice on the right, Nameless wherever the camera finds her. That single split removes most of the panic from the first camera sweep.
How this roster will be updated
If Saikey Studios or the developer publishes official profiles, names or behaviour notes, this page will be revised and the change recorded in the page’s update line. The same applies if a patch changes a camera route. Until then, the table above is the honest limit of what can be verified.
