What this site is

Five Nights with Maids Tips is an independent fan wiki for the night-watch survival horror game from developer Now, published by Saikey Studios. It launched on Windows PC via Steam on October 16, 2026.

The site is deliberately narrow. Night-by-night walkthroughs, endings and platform basics are already covered well elsewhere. Rather than duplicate them, this site focuses on four gaps:

  • Characters: a roster with confirmed names and reported approach routes.
  • Cross-night tips: a power-first method that applies to every night.
  • Patch tracking: a record of what the publisher has actually shipped.
  • Review and specs: a source-based reception summary and the official PC requirements.

How facts are handled

Every page separates three kinds of information:

  1. Official: published by Steam, the developer or Saikey Studios. Examples: release date, price, minimum specs, and the four character names carried by the store’s own character art.
  2. Community-reported: repeatable observations from public player reviews. Examples: camera routes, shutter cues, launch-build input issues.
  3. Unknown: details nobody has published. Examples: character ages, official biographies, post-launch patch plans.

The third category stays empty. This site does not fill gaps with plausible-sounding lore or invented patch numbers.

Why there are no review scores

A numeric score implies a precision that a 65-review launch sample does not support. The review page summarises recurring praise and criticism, states the price and requirements, and lets you decide. Scores will be reconsidered only if the sample becomes large enough to justify one.

Sources

Each page ends with the primary sources it relies on: the Steam store listing and its character assets, the Steam achievements and review APIs, the publisher’s product and patch pages, the Steam news hub and Metacritic. The page-level notes explain what each source was used for, so a claim can be checked without trusting the summary.

Patch follow-up

The patch-notes page is a living document. When Saikey Studios publishes a new build, changelog or content patch, the update is added with the date it was checked and a link to the source. If no changelog exists, the page says so rather than inventing one.

The current tracker was last checked on October 18, 2026. It records the October 16 launch and the October 17 uncensored patch (v1.0.0, about 263 MB).

Independence and funding

This site is not paid by the developer or publisher, does not host the game, and does not sell the patch. There are no affiliate links or ads. Analytics are aggregate and cookieless. Hosting costs are covered by the site’s operator.

Corrections

If a fact is wrong, send the page URL, the claim, the correct information and a source. Corrections that can be verified are applied and the page’s checked date is updated. Reports without a source may still be investigated, but they are not published as fact.

What comes next

  • Add verified patch entries as soon as the publisher ships an update.
  • Expand character notes if official profiles or behaviour documentation appear.
  • Keep the review page aligned with the public review sample and any price change.
  • Add new pages only when they fill a real gap, not to inflate the sitemap.

Where these facts come from

Every claim on this page is checked against the sources below. Where a detail is a player report rather than official documentation, the page says so.

  • Steam store listing — app 4771580Primary source for the developer, publisher, release date, price, supported languages, feature list, game description, character artwork asset names and minimum system requirements. Checked 18 October 2026.
  • Steam achievements — Five Nights with MaidsUsed to confirm the eight-achievement launch set. The character names are taken from the store’s character artwork assets, not from achievement keys; no official biographies are published on this source.
  • Steam user reviews — Five Nights with MaidsUsed for reception figures and for community-reported behaviour, difficulty and launch issues. Player reports are labelled as such throughout the site, not presented as developer documentation.
  • Saikey Studios — Five Nights with Maids product pagePublisher page for the game, the demo link and the official game-patch tab. Used to confirm the publisher and to point readers at the official patch source.
  • Saikey Studios — patch indexThe publisher’s patch index. The game-specific patch is distributed from the product page; this index is the canonical place to check for new releases.
  • HGamer — uncensor patch listing (third-party)Third-party patch listing used to cross-check the v1.0.0 patch size, date and installation steps. The download link points to Saikey Studios, not to a mirror.
  • Metacritic — Five Nights with MaidsUsed for the current absence of critic reviews and for the publisher/developer/release metadata cross-check.
  • Steam news hub — app 4771580The developer/publisher news feed. Checked 18 October 2026: no post-launch patch note had been published there yet.
